On February Meg Reiner gave a presentation to the Rotary Club of Amherstburg on Black History in Amherstburg
Meg is an accomplished author. Her recent book called Heritage Buildings of Amherstburg is a must read for those wishing to know the history of buildings in Amherstburg.
Meg’s presentation on Black History in Amherstburg was rich with details of slavery and how Amherstburg was part of the Underground Railroad. We were honoured to have Meg share her knowledge and will be making a donation to the Amherstburg Freedom Museum on her behalf.
