Safe Families Windsor/Essex is a non-profit organization that provides support and resources to families in crisis in the Windsor Essex Community. The organization works to prevent child abuse and neglect by providing temporary care for children while their parents work through challenging times.
The donated diapers and wipes will make a significant difference to the families assisted by Safe Families Windsor/Essex. Many families the organization serves struggle to provide basic necessities such as diapers and wipes for their children.The donation will help ease the financial burden on those families and provide them with the resources they need to care for their babies. This can help prevent situations where children are left without proper care or end up in the foster care system.
In honour of our 90th Anniversary in Amherstburg we are hoping to collect 90 bags of diapers and 90 wipes. There are two drop off locations until June 17th. One is the Libro Community Centre in the entranceway. A box has been set up for your convenience. The second location is Seasons Retirement in Amherstburg. Please wear a mask and drop off your donation in the box set up in their lobby. Please note we will do porch pick ups as well.
